High School Overview
FBS has earned a reputation for a strong academic presence and maintains a culture of continuous improvement by continually raising the bar for all students. Students of FBS High School will experience a profound and renowned curriculum which are the Cambridge Assessment International Education, Cambridge Assessment English and National / local curriculum.
In terms of Cambridge Assessment International Education, students in grade 10 continue the IGCSE curriculum which offers a variety of routes for learners with a wide range of abilities. They are also encouraged to take the standardized IGCSE test at the end of the year before they continue with AS/A Level curriculum. In grade 11 students have the option to continue AS level curriculum if they are willing to pursue their higher education locally or A level curriculum especially for the ones who plan to study abroad.
Cambridge Assessment English is intended to support students whose native language is not English. At FBS, we ensure students who come from various backgrounds will graduate with B2 to C2 level of English proficiency which is proven by international standardized tests such as: PET (Preliminary English Test), FCE (First Certificate in English), and IELTS or TOEFL iBT.
At FBS, we believed in holistic education which radiates from the school values, which are faith in God, attitude of a positive person, tolerance towards others, integrity as a global citizen of the world and hard work in every aspect of life. Those values are experienced daily through our formal curriculum ranging from Maths, Science to Art, Religion, TAQ and Sport and through interaction among FBS community members. At FBS, we encourage our students to be long life learners.
