Fatih Bilingual School To Hold FOCUS 2019

Fatih Bilingual School will hold the second edition of FOCUS, which is FOCUS 2019, on 16th-19th December 2019 at Fatih Bilingual School, Banda Aceh. FOCUS (Fatih Olympiad Camp Ultimate Session) is an olympiad training program organized by Fatih Bilingual School as a form of a contribution to enhancing education in Aceh.

This training aims to facilitate and help junior high school students, especially for the olympiad students from various regions in Aceh, to get proper olympiad training, from proper olympiad trainers/students, with proper olympiad modules and practice test as well, so that upon leaving this program, the participating students have a better overview of olympiad study and have a more confidence to compete in Olympiad competition and hopefully, make their city proud.

In 2018, FOCUS gave training to 137 participants in the fields of Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Astronomy, and Computers. The difference of FOCUS 2019 from last year’s edition, this time, there are additional fields, namely Earth Science, Geography, and Economics. In FOCUS 2019, participants will be taught by mentors who are highly skilled and experienced in their fields.

In this training there are two options offered namely Junior High School Package, that offers three subject areas that will be contested in the Junior High School Science Olympiad, including; Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Social Sciences, and the High School Package, it covers nine subject areas including; Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Astronomy, Computers, Geography, Earth Science, Economics.
