Mayor of Banda Aceh Supports Volunteering English Program

Fatih Bilingual School has the opportunity to visit the mayor of Banda Aceh on Monday, 6 January 2020 at Kampung Baru, Baiturrahman, Banda Aceh. This visit aimed to get support, permission, discuss and optimize Teacher Volunteering Program together with the Department of Education and Culture of Banda Aceh.

In this visit, Fatih Bilingual School was represented by the school principal, Mr. Nur Wijayanto, and the teachers; Mr. Biadelma Illiandi, Mr. Chyngyz Orozaliev, and Bakytbek Konuev. This visit was warmly welcomed by Mayor of Banda Aceh, Mr. Aminullah Usman, S.E., A.k., M.M, the Head of Education and Culture Department of Banda Aceh, Dr. Saminan, M.Pd, and staff.

On this occasion, the school discussed the target of this program, the material and how to introduce our culture to foreign parties.

Mr. Chyngyz said this program is the school’s initiative which wants to create a bond with Australian institutions in order to teach our students and share our culture.

“To make the program more formal we cooperate with the regional Education Authorities of Banda Aceh. We hope that with their support we will continue drawing the attention of Australian Volunteers for the next Academic year as well”. He added.
