Leadership Camp: Teens Today, Leaders Tomorrow

Fatih Bilingual School organized three-day leadership camp 2019 at Green Paradise Homestay, Darul Imarah, Aceh Besar from 8th to 11th December 2019. This activity was mandatory for all middle-high school students except grades 9 and 12. This activity aimed to enhance the independence, responsibility, and discipline. It also helps the students to improve their ability to collaborate and foster students’ leadership.

This activity consisted of several activities such as reciting Quran, reading the book, creativity competition, quiz contest, evaluation, and closing ceremony. All participants were also asked to bring Quran, sports equipment, swimsuits, and medicines.

Mr. Rafsanjani revealed that this event was very important to be carried out because students need to balance their academics and soft skills such as discipline, independence, leadership, public speaking, character building, character education, and teamwork.

In this activity, the students enjoyed a series of programs that have been planned very well especially games and competitions.

“Hopefully through this leadership program, the participants can explore the knowledge and apply the material that has been obtained in this program into daily life, that can help students to become the leaders in the future”, He added.

In the future, the school planned to make a more interesting leadership camp, with more leadership materials, games, and competitions so that the children can be more enthusiastic and energetic to join the program.
