FVTP Program Visited The Department of Culture and Tourism of Aceh Province

Australian volunteers of the FVTP (Fatih Volunteer Teaching Program) program not only visited and taught at schools but also participated in a friendly visit to the Department of Culture and Tourism of Aceh Province on Wednesday, 12 February 2020. This visit aimed to introduce the FVTP program and also Aceh tourism to foreign parties as an effort to develop Aceh tourism. 

The visit was welcomed by the chairman of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Aceh Province, Mr. Jamaluddin, SE., M.Si, Ak. On this occasion,  Fatih Bilingual School was represented by Mr. Nurhadi Hafman as a Management Advisor, Mr. Biadelma Illiandi as assistant principal of academic affairs and Mr. T. Nasharul as a Photographer.

During the visit, Fatih Bilingual School introduced the FVTP program and its objectives. Department of Culture and Tourism explained about Aceh, in terms of natural tourism, culinary, history, areas that offer natural beauty and continued with video screening sessions such as Aceh tourism, and volunteer teaching activity videos.

The office expressed their support for this program and also in the future if there are foreigners who will come to Fatih they are willing to help in order to introduce Aceh tourism to the international world.

Mr. T. Nasharul said that the meeting went very well, the guests were served a lot of typical Acehnese foods, such as Timphan, Pulot, Gayo coffee, and the visit ended with a photo session.
