FRICTION (Fatih Round Science Competition), National Series 2019

The final round of the FRICTION (Fatih Round Science Competition) – National Series 2019 was held on 25th-26th October 2019. FRICTION is a science competition for elementary and junior high school students with a similar concept to National Science Olympiad organized by Fatih’s Olympiad Club or Fantasco. The FRICTION preliminary round was conducted offline on October 5, 2019 in 23 schools of Aceh province and online for all regions in Indonesia. There are two subject areas that will be tested on the elementary level; Mathematics and Natural Sciences and for Middle School level; Mathematics, Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences.

As many as 1270 participants who took part in the preliminary round and 250 participants were selected to join the final round at Fatih Bilingual School.

In this final round, the finalists will take a science run and a final written test where the results of the two determine the winner of FRICTION – National Series 2019. The 1st – 3td place would get medals, money, certificates and golden tickets to join FAST (Fatih Scholarship Selection) Camp. The winners are still dominated by Aceh Province students, as follows:
