FBS Elementary Family Meet-Up

A family meeting can be a great way and it benefits kids as students in several ways. Fatih Bilingual School held FBS Elementary Family Meet-Up where the parents and students of Spring and Autumn class gathered at the schoolyard to have a family meet up activities on Saturday 18th January 2020.

This event was made for gathering all of the students’ guardians to increase the relationship among them.

It was filled with various activities that were very enjoyable and made all the participants enjoy a series of activities on this agenda which are; breakfast, the introduction of Social Emotional Learning for parents, meet-up and buddy up activities and fun science.

The school also informed that the importance of SEL and its benefits. It was not only for children as well as workers, parents, and educators. This activity was also a means for teachers to share how to synergize between home and school in educating students. 

Since students’ ability to learn well depends not just on the instructions, but also on other factors such as the school climate, family, a sense of belonging with peers, positive relationships with educators, and the feedback they receive.

Mrs. Fitri as the teacher said it was a regular activity that they hold for each class, and she also saw that parents and children were very happy and enjoy this activity so much.

She claimed that all parents were very enthusiastic, and they wanted to apply S.E.L activities in their homes.
