Fatih Scholarship Selection 2020

Fatih Scholarship Selection 2020 has finished, starting from the preliminary round until the announcement on 8 March 2020. 

FAST is a scholarship program given by Fatih Bilingual School School and Teuku Nyak Arief Fatih Bilingual School for 6st-grade students and 9th-grade students in 6 categories, namely academic, sports, arts, tahfidz, special talents, and leadership. 

The program is divided into 2 rounds, the preliminary round, and FAST camp. The preliminary stage could be done offline and online on 8 February 2020. The participants who passed the selection automatically took part in the FAST camp held on  22-23 February 2020.

This year, the preliminary round was followed by 1648 participants; 322 elementary students and 1326 junior high school students. The schools that took part in this program were 140 elementary schools and 64 middle schools from 32 districts/cities in Indonesia. 

There were 41 finalists who successfully joined FAST camp at Fatih Bilingual School and Teuku Nyak Arief  Fatih Bilingual School for 2 days. 

During the FAST camp, the finalists would take several exams and activities; academic tests, Leaderless Group Discussion,  and Project-Based Learning. Besides taking exams, participants were also invited to do fun activities such as games and art performances. Scholarship announcements have been sent via participant email on 8 March  2020.

“Hopefully the number of scholarship hunters will continue to increase and of course with better preparation and those who get scholarships, congratulations and stay humble, keep working hard, because new challenges await. For participants who have not been lucky, don’t give up and keep your spirits up”, said Mr. Tyar as the teacher.

In the previous year, the number of participants in this program was only 252 participants; 82 elementary students and 170 middle school students. It showed that many students in Indonesia who want to get a Fatih scholarship.

We would like to thank all parties who have helped, especially our partner schools in various cities / districts in Aceh, hopefully FAST is not the end but the beginning for us to strengthen our relationships and do things that are useful for the people of Indonesia, especially in Aceh”, Mr. Arief Kurniawan as the chairman of the committee.
