Fatih Bilingual School Students Won at GESMO 2019

Two students from Fatih Bilingual School successfully represented Aceh and won at GESMO 2019;  Khaizuran Aqil Salahudin as a silver medalist of English for level lower primary class and Camila Shahraz as a regional winner of English upper primary, have made their school proud.

Genius English Science Maths Olympiads (GESMO) is a prestigious math competition for elementary school students. GESMO was divided into two stages namely the Regional level and the National level. On the Regional level, GESMO participants take part in the initial selection, if they reach a passing grade, of at least 75%, they will be invited to Jakarta to take part in the National level selection on 2nd-3td November 2019 in Multi-Function Hall, Hotel Amaris Season City, West Jakarta where participants from all provinces will get free accommodation.

Ms. Nina as the supervisor said that this competition was followed by more than one thousand students from Aceh to Maluku.

“Two hundred and forty-six participants were selected to take part in the final round on the national level in Jakarta and Alhamdulillah we got a silver medal there” She added.

Before competing at the national event, students claimed to have been given twenty days of training by the school.
