Fatih Bilingual School Students Won at Aceh Science Competition

Seven students from middle school and six students from high school of Fatih Bilingual School participated at Aceh Science Competition (ASC) on Sunday, 1 December 2019 at AAC Dayang Dawood, Banda Aceh. This competition was organized by Olimpiade Indonesia for middle and high school students in Aceh.

Four students from junior high school and two high school students won this olympiad, they are; Hanif Azzikri (2nd place in Science), Hafizh Al Kautsar (2nd place in Mathematics), M. Alfa Ismail (3rd place in Science), Khaif Al Fansuri (3rd place in Mathematics), M. Surya Perdana (3rd place in Physics), M. Rizqy Akbar (3rd place in Chemistry).

This competition aimed to foster competitiveness among students, attract the best human resources among students as early as possible, so they can be guided as young scientists who will benefit the nation.

This olympiad also aimed to increase knowledge, ability, creativity, and cooperation to master science and technology, Increase students’ intelligence and skills in order to improve the quality of education by acquiring 500 young scientists in 2024 from various disciplines.

Gulbuddin Hikmatyar, as the teacher said that this competition has only one round which is a written test.

He claimed they did not have special preparations for this competition since this is the second time the students have taken part in this competition.

“The students and I are grateful for this result, and I wish them luck in the next competition”, He added.
