Fatih Bilingual School Students Innovation’s Recognized with Gold and Silver Medals in Tokyo

Fatih Bilingual School was representing Indonesia in the Advanced Innovation Creative Olympic (AIJAM) from 7th to 8th December 2019 in Tokyo, Japan. The first team won the gold medal with an innovation project titled “Cocobord the New Generation of Cardboard with Coconut Husk” by Febri Rachmatul Ikram, Muhammad Khalil, and Muhammad Syafiq Akbar.

Meanwhile, the silver medal was won by Mirzal Aldy and Richard Ayman Safwan with a project titled “Coffee Ground as Laundry Adsorbent”.

The event was organized by the AI JAM Association, ASCAAI (American Society for Convergent Applications in AI), Gugen Japan and Hacker Dojo and also attended by 150 participants around the world.

AIJAM is a global platform where the students and inspiring companies can share their ideas, especially in technology. AIJAM is a competition for inventors, students, researchers, entrepreneurs, and companies while providing opportunities for participants to expand their innovations by exhibiting and promoting their inventions and new products in Japan.

Nurhadi Hafman as the School Director said Fatih Bilingual School students can prove that they are worthy and able to compete in international events, especially in the fields of research and projects.

“The research and project are applied at Fatih Bilingual School as a part of the curriculum through STEMS education concept and it is one of the extracurricular activities for students who are interested in exploring the world of research and projects,” He added.
