Fatih Bilingual School Student Won Gold and Bronze Medals at SCE 2019

Fatih Bilingual School students won gold and bronze medals at SCE (Science Competition Expo) 2019. They are Al-Qausar bin Abdullah (gold medalist) got third place in Chemistry and M. Alif Farras (bronze medalist) got fifth place in Computer. Not only for students but this olympiad also for teachers. Mr. Manda Edi Mulyono as the Chemistry teacher also secured a gold medal and got first place in the Chemistry teacher category.

This annual competition was organized by Institut Olimpiade Sains dan Tenaga Pendidik Indonesia (IOSTPI). The event was held on 5th-6th October 2019 in Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) and Pardede Hall Medan and the participants came from 5 provinces in Sumatera (Aceh, Sumut, Sumbar, Riau, Kepri). In this event, all participants are asked to answer forty questions in eighty minutes.

Mr. Manda said he was happy and proud of these students. He also did not think he could bring a medal of the teacher category. In this competition, the students were not only competing but also getting new experiences, and hopefully, it can inspire other students to work hard to achieve their dreams.
