Fatih Bilingual School Secured Two Medals at National Science Olympiad 2019

Fatih Bilingual School students came home with one silver and one bronze medals after competing at the National Science Olympiad 2019 was held in Manado for senior high school and in D.I Yogyakarta for junior high school and elementary school. They are  Ilham Darni in Physics got a silver medal and Ahmad Faqih A in math got a bronze medal

As many as 685 senior high school students from across the province were competing in the National Science Olympiad after going through the selection at regency and provincial level on 9-10 April 2019.

Fatih Bilingual School was successfully sent their four students to the national level, they are Ilham Darni in Physics, Muhammad Hanif in Geography, Ahmad Faqih in Math and Khaif Al Fansyuri in Math for junior high school level. This annual competition was aimed at inspiring the students to become a scientist to develop their nation.

The Olympic location in Manado took place in several places, namely the Manado Independent School (mathematics and astronomy), SMAN 9 (physics), SMAN 1 (chemistry), Rex Mundi Catholic High School (informatics), Eben Haezar Christian High School (biology), SMKN 2 (economics), SMA St. Nikolaus Lokon Tomohon (earth science), and SMKN 1 (geography). Not only participated in the theory and practical test activities but also the students were invited to take a tour around the Manado and joined character education training.

The students claimed that they have done their best to get to this point, this is also due to the support from family and school and friends. They hoped next year Fatih Bilingual School could bring a gold medal home.
