Commemorating Mawlid 1441 H, Fatih Bilingual School Shares Happiness with Orphans

Fatih Bilingual School held Maulid of Prophet Muhammad Salallahua’laihi Wasallam 1441 H on Saturday 1 February 2020 at 08.00 WIB. This activity took place in the schoolyard of the Fatih Bilingual School.

Starting with the Quran recitation by one of the volunteers from Australia, and continued with Ranup Lampuan dance performed by FBS elementary students. This event was attended by around 1000 guests and they are also welcomed with Nasheed performed by FBS students and Australian volunteers.

This year there are 1.000 packages targeted and will be distributed in stages. On this occasion, the package will be distributed as many as 107 to orphans who attended this event who were coming from SDN 40, SDN 47 and SDN 12.

The other package that has not been distributed yet, will be delivered immediately when Fatih management visits the orphanages in Banda Aceh and Aceh Besar with FBS students. The package consists of school bags, notebooks, tumblers, towels, and so on.

The event was attended by Surahman Sirait as the Chair of Fatih Indonesia Foundation, Mustafa Cakallioglu (School Director of Teuku Nyak Arif Fatih Bilingual School), and Nur Wijayanto (School Principal of Fatih Bilingual School) as well as officials namely; former rector of UIN Ar-Raniry, Prof. Yusny Saby PhD., and former rector of Syiah Kuala University, Dr. Darni M Daud M.Ed and the Head of Department of Education and Culture of Banda Aceh, Dr. Saminan M.Pd.

The orphans’ packages or this charity comes from many parties such as students, parents, teachers, boarding supervisors and alumni of Fatih School alumni in Banda Aceh, and Bina Insan Negeri Foundation (Yasbin).

The Maulid lecture was delivered for 30 minutes by Tgk Aria Sandra M.Ag, a lecturer at Dayah Mahyal Ulum Al-Aziziyah, Sibreh, Aceh Besar.

He stressed the importance of imitating the morals of the Messenger of Allah because the main purpose of God to send the Prophet Muhammad was to improve the morals of people at that time.

After the lecture was delivered, it was followed by a prayer and a closing ceremony. After the activity was over, the orphans were invited to have a picnic at Taman Rusa, and would be accompanied by a Maulid committee.
