Charity and Donation Program to Fight COVID-19

In this pandemic atmosphere, every community and various programs are created to raise funds in order to fight this pandemic and show solidarity that we can fight this virus together. 

For the same reason, Fatih Bilingual School created a donation program against COVID-19 starting from 31 March 2020 until early May 2020. Fatih Bilingual School managed to collect donations of Rp. 33,250,000,00 which have been given to the COVID-19 task force of Dr. Zainoel Abidin Regional General Hospital on 20 May 2020 at RSUDZA. 

This donation was received directly by the hospital’s Deputy Director of HR Development, dr. Rusdi Andid, Sp.A. Donations were given in the form of vitamins, milk, food, and supplements needed by medical personnel as frontline workers. This donation was obtained from students’ parents, students, teachers, and Fatih Bilingual School employees. FBS made this program to show their solidarity that we can fight this pandemic together by participating in fundraising to fight COVID-19.

Mr. Syarief as an assistant principal of student affairs for high school said that “I hope that this can foster a sense of sharing in the community especially for the students and from this donation program we want to show that we always support and thank the medical workers who are struggling with this outbreak, and hopefully the situation will get better”.

FBS also hopes that the donations and support from all parties can benefit the recipients, and we always pray that this pandemic will end soon so, we can carry out activities as usual.
