Fatih Bilingual School Organizes FRICTION 2019

FRICTION (Fatih Round Science Competition) will be held tomorrow, on 5^th October 2019. FRICTION is a science competition with a similar concept to National Science Olympiad organized by  Fatih’s Olympiad Club or Fantasco. More than 1000 participants will compete in this competition including elementary and middle school from all over Indonesia. This annual event is expected to be a benchmark for students in Indonesia before they take part in the National Science Olympiad.

There are two subject areas that will be tested on the elementary level; Mathematics and Natural Sciences. While for Middle School, there are three subject areas that will be tested; Mathematics, Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences.

There are two stages of selection, namely the preliminary round, and the final round. Before the preliminary round, there will be an online warming-up session which will not affect the score in the selection.

The preliminary round will be held in 23 districts of Aceh Province and online for all regions in Indonesia. While the final stage will be held at Fatih Bilingual School.
