Parent Orientation Program 2019

Fatih Bilingual School had organized Parents’ Orientation Program for an academic year 2019/2020 which was held from 9 to 27 July 2019 in Fatih Bilingual School, with a goal providing an opportunity for parents to discover positive learning atmosphere as well as building up a healthy relationship between teachers, parents, and students.

This parents’ orientation program is divided into four parts. The first wave is for grade 1, the second wave is for grades 7 and 10, the third wave is for grades 2,3,4,5, 8 and 11, the last wave is for grade 6, 9 and 12.

In this event, parents had an opportunity to know about school activities through provided material, for instance, the introduction of extracurricular, college counseling and research project. Parents are also shown about schools’ programs such as the Olympic program, TAQ (Tahfidz-Tahsin Al-Quran), boarding school concept and parents’ club. For the final year students, there are several additional materials, for instance, examination and enrichment program, graduation, yearbook and university preparation.

“Usually I do not know what my child did every day in school, but by joining this program, I have a general concept about teachers and student activities,” said a parent.

The parents also express his gratitude and surprised because it was the first time for parents joined the program. He also said that it was a great program to know about the school environment, teaching method, and teachers.

“I’m very happy because FBS not only focuses on the intellectual aspect but also moral education has been focused since at the very beginning of school activity. This program was fun because we are invited to play several games” said one of the parents. 

Parents hope Fatih Bilingual School always gives their best to educate the students with various programs.
