Hands-on Science & Math: Linear Equation with Mr. Rafsan

Saturday is also time to study. In this Hands-on Science session, FBS invited the audience to study mathematics, especially for junior high school students on 9 May 2020 at 2 p.m. to 2.40 p.m. The material discussed was a linear equation with one of the FBS Mathematics teachers, Mr. Rafsanjani.

Mr. Rafsan said that this program was very good for students who could not study during the COVID-19 pandemic, and he was ecstatic to have the opportunity to share knowledge with other students.

“This seminar is also effective, the difference is only because it is a virtual classroom, however, the material and the way students understand the material remains the same, there is only one obstacle that is often faced such as an unstable internet connection. The rest, this class is perfect for students who still want to continue learning from home”, He added.

During this virtual class, there are three main points delivered by the speaker, namely gradient, graphing linear equation, and the use of linear equations in everyday life. In this seminar, the participants were not only invited to understand theory and work on problems but were also invited to understand and reflect on the theory and its use in everyday life.
