Fatih Bilingual School Students Secured Silver Medal at AIGC

Twelve-grade students from Fatih Bilingual School achieved a silver medal at AIGC (Advanced Innovation Global Competition)  in NTU (Nanyang Technology University), Singapore which was held on 15th-17th November 2019. They are Aqil Naufal Syahrul and M. Syafiq Akbar.

AIGC is the largest innovation contest for Singapore students which was organized by INNOPA (Indonesian Invention and Innovation Promotion Association) and ASSAC (American Society of Science and Art Convergence). The aim of this contest was to gather young innovators from all over the world to enjoy the challenges of innovation.

As many as 114 teams around the world came from Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Iran, Malaysia, the Philippines, Japan, Ukraine, and Singapore to join this prestigious contest from three different categories; primary, secondary, and university.

Mr. Manda Edy Mulyono, Chemistry teacher said there were several stages of selection. The first was project selection, and it was curated by experienced curators, after passing this stage, the team would be invited to do an exhibition in Singapore.

He claimed the students have been preparing for this project for a year, and he was very proud and happy as a mentor and teacher.

“Hopefully Fatih research team can gain more achievements and inspire other students,” he added.
